Tofaah's Female Guitarists:
Meet Mindy on Lead Guitar

Mindy Fuhrer is the lead vocalist and guitarist for Tofaah, Israel’s first all-woman Jewish band. She also coauthors many of the band’s songs. She is a native of Elizabeth, NJ, and has been a professional musician since she was fifteen years old. She also plays banjo, mandolin, bass, and drums.

As a member of Tofaah, she helped pioneer women-only performances in Israel and has helped nurture female Jewish performing artists for decades.

She made aliya in 1985 and lives in Jerusalem.
